The future of shipping and energy transition

Shipping is responsible for 3 percent of global CO2 emissions, just like aviation.
Ports and ships are trying to become cleaner, through cleaner fuel and cleaner engines.
The production of goods in low-cost countries, such as medical products, is partly returning to countries that consume these goods. Gradual energy transition and reshoring of production will have consequences for shipping and ports.
But more needs to be done to combat climate change
